Cécile Koufou

Bonjour ! I’m Cécile Koufou, a French and English teacher from Bordeaux, France. My aim as your teacher is to reach the goals you have set for yourself, and even find new ones. What is important to me is finding out who you are, what you need to learn and how you learn things, so I can offer you the most enjoyable, stress-free and efficient classes. We will work on themes which are useful and interesting for you, and we’ll also use books and online materials to increase and strengthen your knowledge of the language. I create a document for each student to keep notes of all vocabulary and practice covered during the class – and I’m glad to give you homework if you want to practice!

I studied English Literatures and Cultures at University and started teaching English and French to foreigners in 2005. From that time, I have mainly taught adults, both in groups and individuals, from beginners (I love beginners!) to advanced levels, preparation for certifications (DALF, DELF, FCE etc.) My hobbies include learning new languages or skills, spending time in the countryside and reading.
