Dobrý den! Ahoj! My name is Martina Pardubská, I’m a certified Czech language teacher from Prague. I’ve lived in Prague my whole life, but I’ve also experienced living in countries where I didn’t speak the local language (Greece, Spain, Italy). This taught me to truly understand how foreigners in the Czech Republic feel and what they really need. In my lessons, I focus on developing communication skills and the ability to handle new situations with confidence. I’ll keep you motivated to learn even outside of our classes. Studying Czech with me will be both fun and effective - combining enjoyable activities with targeted practice. I’ll be not only your teacher, but also your guide to the Czech language and mentor throughout your learning journey. My lessons are fully tailored to your needs—we’ll work only on what you really want and need. I also prepare students for the permanent residence language exam (A2).

I have been teaching Czech since 2018, and since 2022 it has been my full-time job. I graduated from the Faculty of Education at Charles University, where I also completed a specialized program in teaching Czech as a foreign language. I teach only adults, from complete beginners to advanced students. In addition, I work as a teacher in Czech language retraining courses and at various language institutions abroad. I speak fluently English and German.
